Dude, i bet you only played L2 on privates. In other words u don't have a glimpse of the real thing besides some random pics with vesper textures. There are good MMOs out there, just most ppl are too ignorant to even try them out. Not to mention the butthurts who go "i don't pay for games, else i can't afford condoms with banana flavour".
If it's L2 private or not, it's not your decision to make.
We have some L2 addicts around and after they tried some other games, they considered them fun enough to play them more.
And don't bring me the "class imbalance" argument, as L2 privates have **** up mechanincs and even the official doesn't have it all good as within each update some class gets nerfed and another becomes overpowered.
